Rumors have been circulating for a while that Singer Teyana Taylor had something to do with the altercation between NFL Player Ray Rice & his wife Janay Rice that took place on an elevator in Atlantic City. There was a woman (allegedly a friend of Lashontae) that sent an email to all of the blogs with information that Teyana allegedly sent a text to Ray that sparked the assault against his wife. It didn’t help that Teyana Taylor’s ex Brandon Jennings and Joe Budden also fed into the rumors (see tweets below). However, Ray Rice says the assault was sparked by alcohol and Teyana spoke up in an interview with Power 99 (below) and said the rumors were completely false.
