<p>Roommates, after waiting for what seemed like forever, the highly-anticipated battle between R&;B groups <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/former-112-members-daron-and-q-say-they-will-not-be-participating-in-verzuz-battle-against-jagged-edge/">112 and Jagged Edge</a> finally happened—and it was filled with hits. 112 and Jagged Edge are the first R&;B groups (or groups period) to participate in the Verzuz battles and they definitely did not disappoint.</p>
<p>112 and Jagged Edge are two of the most <a href="https://www.hotnewhiphop.com/112-brings-out-keith-sweat-during-verzuz-battle-with-jagged-edge-news.111156.html">popular R&;B groups</a> to come out of the mid-90s to mid-2000s—so it was only right that the Atlanta hometown rivals came together for a friendly Verzuz battle that lived up to the hype and then some.</p>
<p>Both groups have more than their fair share of up-tempo club jams along with classic ballads, so when they started going back-and-forth viewers quickly realized just how many R&;B classics they are responsible for.</p>

<p>Some of 112 and Jagged Edge’s hits played during the battle, included: “Let&#8217;s Get Married (Remix)” featuring Jermaine Dupri and Loon (Jagged Edge), “Anywhere” (112) “He Can&#8217;t Love You” (Jagged Edge), “Cupid” (112), “Where the Party At” featuring Nelly (Jagged Edge) and many more.</p>

<p>Several celebrities were glued to the battle as well, such as Tory Lanez, Tamar Braxton, Tank, Ja Rule, The-Dream, Monica, Teddy Riley, Ludacris, Questlove, Sevyn Streeter, N.O.R.E., Fabolous, Jadakiss, The Game, Keri Hilson, and Ne-Yo.</p>
<p>Not even a few minor sound issues could stop the good vibes that came from this R&;B match-up. In a nice little surprise, both groups also played a track they have together, which fans loved. Despite Q and Daron not being present for the 112 battle due to ongoing legal issues within the group, it was great to see the love between all the guys.</p>
