The BET Awards is one of the biggest award shows of the summer, and there are always plenty of memorable moments that go down each year, and were pretty sure this year will be no different.
On Monday, the network announced the nominees for the 2017 BET Awards, showcasing some of the heavy hitters that have been holding it down inside and outside of music all year.
Leading with the most nominations is none other than Queen Bey, as she earns a total of seven nominations. Some of the categories she is nominated in include, Best Female R&B/Pop Artist, Best Collaboration, Video of the Year, and Album of the Year.
Beyonc will also face off against her sister Solange in some of those categories as she was also nominated for Best Female R&B/ Pop Artist, Video of the Year and Album of the Year.
Following behind Beyonc is Bruno Mars as he snagged a total of five nominations, which include, Best Male R&B/ Pop Artist and Viewers Choice.”
Two other categories that are highly anticipated throughout the night are “Best Female Hip-Hop Artist” and “Best Male Hip-Hop Artist.” Some of the nominees for those two categories include Drake, J Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Cardi B and Nicki Minaj.
