The 2019 SAG Award Nominations Are Announced!

With award season right around the corner, the nominations for the 25th annual SAG Awards were announced on Wednesday.

According to Variety, Lavern Cox and Awkwafina were on hand to announce the nominations in West Hollywood for acting in both television and film.

Some of our favorites to earn nominations for their roles this past year include John David Washington, Mahershala Ali, Sterling K. Brown and many others.

The Spike Lee film, “BlacKkKlansman,” comes in second with the most nominations as the film earns a nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture. John David Washington earns an Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role nomination and Adam Driver earns an Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role nomination.

The 25th annual SAG Awards take place on January 27th
