<p>The Bahamas Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Immigration recently released a warning to their citizens that are expecting to travel to the U.S.</p>
<p>With the recent events that have taken place in Baton Rouge, Minnesota and Dallas, the government of the majority black-Caribbean island released a statement on Friday.</p>
<p>According to CNN, they are advising travelers to stay away from large crowds and demonstrations. They are asking young men specifically to, &#8220;exercise extreme caution in affected cities in their interactions with the police &#8230; Do not be confrontational and cooperate.&#8221;</p>
<p>This warning comes as the island celebrates its Independence Day on Monday, a holiday where many Bahamians plan to travel to the U.S.</p>
<p>Authorities ended their statement by saying, “Pay attention to the public notices and news announcements in the city that you are visiting.&#8221;</p>
<p>This is not the first time within the past few months where a country has issued a warning to travelers. Back in April the UK warned its LBGT community following the controversial legislation passed in North Carolina and Mississippi.</p>
