<p>This year&#8217;s Billboard Music Awards already seems like it will be an interesting one as host Ciara was caught throwing shade at Future when she wouldn&#8217;t say his name when she was announcing this year&#8217;s nominees along side her co host Ludacris!</p>
<p>Even through all the shade we must not lose sight of whats most important, the artists who will be nominated for their work. The Weeknd has been definitely sweeping nominations lately at these award shows and the Billboard Awards will be no different as he has been nominated 19 times in 16 categories—sheesh!</p>
<p>Justin Bieber follows next as he’s a finalist 12 times in 11 categories; Drake and Fetty Wap are tied finalists 11 times in 10 categories and last but not least, Taylor Swift and Adele are neck in neck with eight awards possibly under their belt!</p>
<p>Their are a handful of newer artists that have taken the nation by storm, like R&;B Canadian based singer, Alessia Cara and R&;B Kentucky singer, Bryson Tiller as well!</p>
<p>Wiz Khalifah is slightly killing the game too y&#8217;all because he is nominated for six awards, mainly for his collaboration single “See You Again” with Charlie Puth, from the <em>Furious 7 </em>soundtrack.</p>
<p>For those navy fans, don&#8217;t worry Billboard did not forget about Ms. Fenty as she is on the list for “Top R&;B Artist” and “Top R&;B Album” for her latest album “Anti” which is clearly blazing the charts as we speak! Yass Rihanna!</p>
