<p><strong>Jess Hilarious </strong>will be starting 2024 with a new gig! The comedian recently revealed she&#8217;s the new permanent co-host for &#8216;The Breakfast Club.&#8217;</p>

<p>This comes after the radio show spent nearly a year inviting <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/charlamagne-k-michelle-breakfast-club-banned/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">guest co-hosts</a> to the program, including rapper Remy Ma. Jess spent much of 2023 alongside its current hosts, Charlamagne Tha God and DJ Envy. Then, on Dec. 23, <a href="https://www.instagram.com/reel/C1QGUrdRUhi/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&;igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==" target="_blank" rel="noopener">she shared</a> her resume update at an event.</p>
<p>In a navy blue gown, Jess spoke about representing her Baltimore City roots as co-host on &#8216;The Breakfast Club.&#8217;</p>

<h3 style="text-align: center;">Jess Hilarious Joins &#8216;The Breakfast Club&#8217; A Year After Angela Yee Left</h3>
<p>As mentioned, &#8216;The Breakfast Club&#8217; hasn&#8217;t had a third co-host seat holder since last December. That marked the last month Angela Yee spent on the morning programming. She had <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/angela-yee-says-bye-to-the-breakfast-club-to-host-her-own-daily-show-later-this-year/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">announced her departure</a> months earlier in August.</p>

<p>At the time, she revealed she had landed her own nationally syndicated daily show at iHeart Radio and would no longer be hosting with Envy and Charlamagne. Her show is called <a href="https://youtu.be/eA9dGbVP9Y4?si=6wKsFf3L-3XPSOMY" target="_blank" rel="noopener">&#8216;Way Up with Angela Yee&#8217;</a> and aims to blend rumor reports, interviews, and &#8216;Ask Yee&#8217; segments.</p>
<p>After the online announcement tease in August, Angela spoke of her new opportunity on &#8216;The Breakfast Club.&#8217;</p>

I know it took a long time to make this happen so I want to thank everybody at iHeart.&#8221; She added, &#8220;I really want to thank, first and foremost, the listeners who are part of our<em> Breakfast Club </em>family. We&#8217;ve been doing this for 12 years now, and so this is just a tremendous opportunity.&#8221;</p></blockquote>

<p>In May, Charlamagne clarified that there&#8217;s no salacious reason Angela left. Speaking on <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wjYurs7xw10" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Vlad TV</a>, he said she got an opportunity and took it.</p>
