Recently Derek Fisher was arrested on suspicion of DUI after he and his girlfriend, Gloria Govan, were involved in a car accident.
Both Fisher and Govan were able to escape the accident without suffering from any injuries.
According to TMZ, the vehicle that Fisher wrecked in the crash is reportedly registered in Matt Barnes’ name. The 2015 white Cadillac Escalade that Fisher was driving hit a guardrail on the 101 Freeway in L.A. and flipped while he was driving home with Govan.
Sources revealed that Barnes gave the vehicle to Govan specifically “for the kids.”
Barnes, who is currently competing in the 2017 NBA Championship, as a member of the Golden State Warriors, has not made a comment about the situation.
It is a well-known fact that Fisher and Barnes don’t have the greatest relationship, seeing how the two were once teammates, and Govan is the ex-wife of Barnes and the mother to his two children.
