The price tag on Jay Z’s new champagne will have you asking your landlords why they need rent EVERY month?!
The rapper is dropping a new bottle of his Armand de Brignac champagne “Blanc de Noirs Assemblage Two” which is also known as A2. All of a sudden the phrase “if you can’t pronounce it, you probably can’t afford it” just hit home with me.
The champagne will reportedly hit the market with a price tag of $850 per bottle. Which means, the price of a couple of bottles is easily somebody’s tuition because who just turns up with one bottle right?
According to Time, Americans would have to work 33 hours to buy one bottle. This finding was based on the average hourly wage for Americans on private nonfarm payrolls, which was $26.09 an hour—according to the Bureau ofLabor Statistics.
If you’re trying to get in on this bubblé, the starting date of its sale is April 18th, however, only 2,333 bottles will be sold.
