<p data-pm-slice="0 0 []">Roommates, the family of 29-year-old Asia Maynard is seeking answers as they claim authorities are doing little following her death last Friday. The Kansas City native recently passed away after she went on a date with a white man she met recently. According to <a href="https://fox4kc.com/news/family-of-kc-mother-wants-more-answers-in-her-recent-death/">Fox4kc</a>, reports state Asia passed away from natural causes, and Kansas City police and the medical examiner told the family they do not believe there was foul play. However, Asia&#8217;s mother, Denise Maynard, disagrees.</p>
<p>&#8220;She&#8217;s only 29. You&#8217;re not dying of natural causes at 29,&#8221; stated Denise. Tera Maynard, Asia&#8217;s sister, spoke to fox4kc and explained she reported her sister missing after she didn&#8217;t see or hear from Asia after Friday.</p>

<p>“She called me Friday at 10:30 or 11 o&#8217;clock and said, hey, I met a new friend. I&#8217;m going on a date. I&#8217;ll come by tomorrow,&#8221; Tera said. &#8220;After Friday, she never called. She never showed up, and that&#8217;s not like her. So, another day goes by. I said something was not right. It&#8217;s not sitting right with my spirit.”</p>
<p>When Tera spoke with authorities on Saturday, they were already aware of Asia&#8217;s death but never contacted her family. &#8220;When she got to the funeral home, and we viewed her body, she had blood in her eyes and her ears, and her clothes were saturated with blood,&#8221; said her mother. Her mother also believes KCPD is rushing the investigation. Reports do not list the unidentified man&#8217;s name, and he isn&#8217;t listed as a suspect.</p>
<p>Asia&#8217;s death has become a topic on social media as her case sounds similar to <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/connecticut-mayor-suspends-two-detectives-assigned-to-the-case-of-lauren-smith-fields-death/">Lauren Smith-Fields,</a> who passed away after a Bumble date with Matthew LaFountain.
