<p>#Roommates, for the last several months health experts have been in a frenzy trying to secure a vaccination for <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/health-officials-say-forthcoming-covid-19-vaccine-will-be-free-for-all-its-expected-in-january-2021/">COVID-19</a>—and now it’s only two months away. The Centers For Disease Control has just informed all state governors that a COVID-19 vaccine will be ready to distribute just two days before Election Day.</p>
<p>@CBSNews reports, the CDC recently told state governors to <a href="https://www.cbsnews.com/news/covid-19-vaccinations-prepare-november-centers-disease-control/">be prepared</a> for the distribution of a COVID-19 vaccine by November 1<sup>st</sup>, which is two days before Election Day on November 3<sup>rd</sup>. CDC Director Robert Redfield sent a letter last week to governors, informing them that the U.S. government is contracting with the company McKesson to distribute the vaccine to local health departments and doctors&#8217; offices. Redfield also asked them to expedite any applications for distribution facilities to ensure that there is an adequate number before the vaccine is available.</p>
<p>Apparently, the COVID-19 vaccine also has the support of Dr. Anthony Fauci, the head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. In a recent interview with Kaiser Health News, Fauci said if clinical trials for COVID-19 vaccines produce results that are overwhelmingly positive, scientists would have a “moral obligation” to offer the vaccine by speeding up the process and making it available to all.</p>
<p>Meanwhile, Trump has previously stated that he also expects the COVID-19 vaccine to be ready right before he finds out if he will be elected to serve a second term or be defeated by Joe Biden. I&#8217;m optimistic that it&#8217;ll be probably around that date. “I believe we&#8217;ll have the vaccine before the end of the year, certainly, but around that date, yes, I think so,” he said early last month.</p>
<p>While this vaccine is ready to go for November distribution, most medical experts do not expect widespread vaccinations to be available until early 2021.</p>
