Masika Kalysha’s relationship with fiance Jamar Champ has been quite the rollercoaster! Just days after their fabulous engagement party in Houston, Masika found herself calling the engagement off but NOW, Jamar says the wedding is back on!
For starters, Masika’s relationship has already garnered its fair share of criticism after people expressed that her engagement to Jamar was quite sudden.
Acknowledging that they had only been dating for four months prior to Jamar popping the big question, Masika explained that it doesn’t always take a man a long time to know if he wants to spend the rest of his life with a woman.
She also explained that she’s known Jamar for 10 years and curved him majority of the time he tried to shoot his shot.
After the two got engaged, the couple solidified things by throwing an engagement party to celebrate their upcoming nuptials.Â
The family event was filled with sweet moments including Masika’s praise of the stepfather Jamar has been to her and Fetty Wap’s daughter, Khari Barbie. Jamar also gifted Masika with a brand new engagement ring.
So, you can imagine social media’s surprise (or in some cases lack there of) when Masika called off the engagement days later after the couple exchanged subs on Instagram and hit the unfollow button on one another.
Well just like that, Jamar says things are good again between him and Masika. He shared on Instagram that he went to Las Vegas to go get his fiancee after fans pointed out the two were there at the same time.
“I went to Vegas and got my (fiancee) back, f**k what y’all thought,” Jamar said.
Whew! Don’t blame us if we hold our breath until the wedding day, ’cause Chile, dis tew much!
