<p data-pm-slice="1 1 []">Roommates, <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/the-weeknd-says-he-was-planning-a-performance-for-the-grammys-prior-to-learning-he-was-not-nominated/">The Weeknd</a> is currently a hot topic on social media after dropping the video for his latest song, “Save Your Tears.” In the video, The Weeknd debuts a jaw-dropping new look that gives the appearance of drastic plastic surgery.</p>
<p>If you’re a fan of The Weeknd, then you have likely noticed that for the last few months (during public appearances) he has been <a class="ProsemirrorEditor-link" href="https://nypost.com/2021/01/05/the-weeknd-shocks-with-plastic-surgery-in-save-your-tears-video/">wearing bandages</a> on his face—and now he just revealed what was underneath.</p>
<p>In the brand new video for “Save Your Tears,” The Weeknd has shocked fans and social media with a heavily- altered, plastic surgery look that is sure to have you doing a double-take. Wearing the red suit that he has worn for the duration of his “After Hours” album era, the video clip features close-ups of The Weeknd’s new face as he performs for a crowd of people who are all wearing masks, except for his leading lady.</p>
<p>The video ends with him putting a gun to his head and pulling the trigger, as an explosion of confetti comes out. Despite fans wanting answers about his appearance, he has kept quiet and instead posted a selfie of his altered face while sitting in what looked to be the makeup chair on the video set.</p>
<p>As we previously reported, The Weeknd was highly upset and very vocal about not receiving a single Grammy nomination for “After Hours” or the chart-topping single “Blinding Lights.”</p>
