This Is The Real Reason Why Phaedra & The Boys Haven’t Visited Apollo Nida In Prison!

Reports have been surfacing over the past few months that Phaedra has not “allowed” her sons Dylan (2) and Ayden (5) to visit their father Apollo in prison. He’s currently serving an 8 year prison sentence at Fort Dix correctional facility in New Jersey, and we totally get that it’s hard raising a child behind bars. But it turns out that these reports weren’t necessarily true.
Apollo spoke exclusively with TMZ where he explained that like Phaedra, he doesn’t want the kids visiting him at the prison. They both agree that the experience is a bit too much for young boys to be apart of, so they’ve opted to FaceTime instead, which is great! We commend any man who is willing to be in the child’s lives by any means necessary.
That’s not the only reason why Apollo’s family hasn’t visited him, though. If you recall, we reported to you guys earlier this month that Apollo had been transferred from FMC Lexington prison in KY to Fort Dix in late November. If you are familiar with the justice system, then you know that the wheels turn very slow, so he told TMZ that his family has not even been approved for visits yet! 
As previously stated, he’s FaceTiming the boys and enjoying parenting from a distance. We hope everything works out!
