<p><strong>Tia Mowry</strong> is divorced and dating! This week, the actress opened up to her 12 million Instagram followers about looking for love in her 40s.</p>
<p>The 45-year-old has been vocal about her and <strong>Cory Hardrict</strong>&#8216;s split since the <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/tia-mowry-files-for-divorce-from-cory-hardrict-after-14-years-of-marriage-citing-irreconcilable-differences-breakups/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">news broke</a> last October. Now, nearly one year later, she&#8217;s giving fans an insider look at single life.</p>

<p>Tia delivered her message by filming a video <a href="https://www.tiktok.com/discover/do-you-like-it-do-you-like-it-dating" target="_blank" rel="noopener">using viral audio</a> about the daunting nature of dating.</p>

So when I tell you I&#8217;m nervous and terrified of doing this whole dating thing, I mean it,&#8221; Tia wrote in the caption, adding a crying emoticon. &#8220;Though I&#8217;m in my 40s, I feel so inexperienced!&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>Despite feeling fearful, the mother of two said she&#8217;s taking the leap and trusting in God.</p>

<p>It&#8217;s unclear WHO the Hollywood vet stepped out with, but her <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/exclusive-family-files-100-million-lawsuit-after-date-night-at-cinema-ends-in-of-30-year-old-black-man-tsr-investigates/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">date night outfit</a> inspired compliments in her comment section.</p>
<p>She wore a sleeveless black top accessorized with bling, a black skirt with colorful flowers, and strappy black heels. Mowry styled her hair in a high, curly ponytail and completed the look with hoop earrings, layered necklaces, bracelets, and a watch.</p>

<p>As mentioned, Tia Mowry filed for divorce in October after nearly 15 years of marriage to Hardrict. The court docs cited &#8220;irreconcilable differences&#8221; for their split. They had met in 1999 on a movie set but didn&#8217;t tie the knot until April 2008.</p>
<p>After the divorce news spread, Mowry <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/tia-mowry-speaks-amid-divorce/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">took to Instagram</a>, explaining that her decision was not easy or &#8220;without sadness.&#8221; However, she assured fans they would &#8220;maintain a friendship as [they] co-parent&#8221; their kids, Cree and Cairo. Within days, Cory <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/cory-hardrict-cheating-tia-mowry/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">denied rumors</a> that he&#8217;d been unfaithful in the marriage.</p>

She captioned the still-available post, <em>&#8220;Family will ALWAYS be family. Merry Christmas from our family to yours.&#8221; </em></p>

<p>In April, US Weekly reported that the couple&#8217;s <a href="https://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity-news/news/tia-mowry-cory-hardrict-finalize-divorce-after-15-years-of-marriage/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">marriage was dissolved</a> on April 24, per court documents. This divorce finalization came amid what was supposed to be their 15th wedding anniversary.</p>
<p>The estranged pair opted to retain joint custody of the children. Now that Tia Mowry is dating, she must adhere to a waiting period for introducing new partners to their kids.</p>
<p><em>PEOPLE </em>reports that <a href="https://people.com/tv/who-is-cory-hardrict-tia-mowry/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Mowry and Hardrict agreed</a> to be exclusively dating someone for at least six months before introductions. Per the agreement, their new romantic partners will also not be allowed to spend the night while Cree or Cairo is in their care.</p>
