<p><strong>Tia Mowry</strong> didn&#8217;t let living the single life get her down in 2023! Instead, the actress says she embraced the &#8220;value of solitude.&#8221;</p>
<p>Taking to Instagram days before the year ends, Mowry explained what she learned by shifting her mindset. She started by &#8220;confessing&#8221; that she&#8217;s &#8220;never been alone until now.&#8221;</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;For the longest time, I&#8217;ve found myself in the company of others, as my work and family commitments kept me constantly surrounded by people, and, not to mention, I have a twin. Alone time was a rare occurrence growing up. However, over the past year, I deliberately shifted my perspective and embraced moments of solitude,&#8221; Tia <a href="https://www.instagram.com/tiamowry/reel/C1dbpKjrNnl/?hl=en" target="_blank" rel="noopener">wrote</a>.</p></blockquote>
<p>Tia&#8217;s lengthy caption was attached to a video of her jokingly singing and dancing. She held what looked like a wine bottle in one hand and a filled glass in the other. She captioned the clip,<em> &#8220;Me when no one is home.&#8221; </em></p>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">More Details On Tia Mowry&#8217;s Newfound Solitude Journey</h3>
<p>It&#8217;s been over a year since Tia Mowry <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/tia-mowry-files-for-divorce-from-cory-hardrict-after-14-years-of-marriage-citing-irreconcilable-differences-breakups/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">filed for divorce</a> from Cory Hardrict after 14 years of marriage and 22 years of romance. The marriage was<a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/listicle/tia-mowry-cory-hardrict-finalize-divorce/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> reportedly dissolved</a> amid what would&#8217;ve been their 15th anniversary this past April.</p>
<p>Their divorce docs reportedly listed &#8220;irreconcilable differences&#8221; as the reason for their end. However, shortly after Tia filed in Oct. 2022, Hardrict <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/cory-hardrict-cheating-tia-mowry/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">denied cheating</a> on her. The former pair now share joint custody of their two children, son Cree and daughter Cairo.</p>
<p>This month, Tia popped out at the Los Angeles movie premiere of &#8216;Wonka&#8217; with her kiddos in tow. Then, on Christmas Day, Mowry <a href="https://www.instagram.com/tiamowry/p/C1TIWN2rCqq/?hl=en&;img_index=10" target="_blank" rel="noopener">shared a carousel post</a> featuring holiday photos with Cree and Cairo. The post contrasts last year&#8217;s holiday re-cap when Tia and Cory spent the <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/tia-mowry-shares-loving-christmas-photos-with-kids-and-cory-hardrict-family-will-always-be-family/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">holidays together</a> amid the divorce.</p>

<p>After shifting her mindset in 2023, Mowry said on Dec. 29 that being alone wasn&#8217;t &#8220;a punishment.&#8221;</p>
<p><strong><em>&#8220;I realized that being alone wasn&#8217;t a punishment but rather an opportunity to recharge. Through conscious effort, I transformed these moments into a crucial aspect of maintaining my well-being. This shift allowed me to recognize the value of solitude in refreshing my mind and spirit.&#8221;</em></strong></p>
<p>She added that her rejuvenation journey allows her to &#8220;fully be present&#8221; with her loved ones.</p>
