<div>With Nipsey&#8217;s legacy in mind, his family decided to plan a public memorial service to celebrate his life, allowing residents of California to come and pay their respects at the Staples Center.</div>

<div>The service is set to take place on Thursday April 11 at 10am PST, and the tickets went live this morning. The tickets were sold out just 10 minutes after becoming available.</div>

<div>Tickets were free to the public, as long as you live in California. Residents were instructed to enter their CA ZIP code in the &#8216;promo code&#8217; box to ensure their residency. There was also a four-ticket limit per household.</div>

<div>Out of respect for Nipsey and his family, attendees will be subject to very strict entrance protocol, TMZ reports. All guests in groups must enter the premises together with tickets in hand, and all guests will be subject to metal detector screenings and bag checks.</div>

<div>There will be no backpacks allowed into the ceremony, nor can there be any bags larger than a small purse or 14&#8243; x 14&#8243; x 6&#8243;. There will also be no cameras or recording devises allowed inside the venue to protect the privacy of Nipsey&#8217;s family.</div>

<div>Doors for the event will open at 8 a.m., and the service is set to start promptly at 10 a.m.</div>

<div>Nispsey&#8217;s untimely death has had a lasting effect on many family members, friends, and communities. As we previously reported, he was gunned down in front of his &#8216;The Marathon&#8217; store in Los Angeles on March 31.</div>

<div>His alleged killer, Eric Holder, has been charged with one count of murder, two counts of attempted murder and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon.</div>
