Last year Tiffany Haddish had an amazing year. From her many guest appearances to her starring role in the box office hit “Girls Trip.”
I think many would agree that her selfie with Beyoncé at a 4:44 after-party can definitely be added to that list of 2017 highlights.
In a recent interview with Vulture, Tiffany Haddish shared the story of how Beyoncé talked her out of putting the paws on someone at the party that night, and how she landed the selfie with Queen Bey.
When asked about the process of getting Beyoncé to take the selfie with her, she said, “Okay, so what had happened was, something had gone down with somebody at the party, right? I’m not at liberty to say what had went down at the party, but Beyoncé was just telling me to have a good time, and I was like, “No, I’m gonna end up fighting this b*tch!”
Tiffany continued, “She was like, “No, have fun, Tiffany,” and I said, “I’m only going to have fun if you take a selfie with me.”
She went on to say Beyoncé buried her face in her wig, and when she asked the songstress if her wig was slipping, she responded and said, “Mmm-hmm.”
She came up to me and was like, “I think you are so funny, Tiffany Haddish.” I was like, “What? You know me?” She said, “I’m Beyoncé.” “I KNOW!”
