Back in May Tiger Woods was arrested and charged with a DUI.

According to the New York Daily News, the golf star plead not guilty on Wednesday as a part of a plea deal that is expected to keep him out of jail and placed in a special program.

Sources say Woods did not physically attend the Palm Beach County hearing, but the Chief Assistant State Attorney outlined the terms of the deal, which Woods is expected to accept on October 25th.

Under the deal, Woods pleaded not guilty to the DUI charges but will plead guilty to a lesser charge of reckless endangerment. In return, he is expected to receive 1 year of probation and 50 hours of community service.

He will also have to attend a DUI school, pay a $250 fine and submit random drug tests.

Woods’ attorney, Douglas Duncan, said he would definitely be present for the October 25th hearing.

As we previously reported, Woods was found passed out behind the wheel of his car miles away from his home in Jupiter, FL. He was charged with a DUI but no alcohol was found in his system. Later he admitted that he passed out due to mishandling his prescription medication.
