<p>We were all shocked and excited when photos revealed that actress Tika Sumpter was pregnant. She managed to keep the news from her coworkers and some close friends up until her third trimester.</p>
<p>Now she reveals more as she covers the October issue of Fit Pregnancy And Baby Magazine.</p>
<p>In her interview, the soon to be mother who is expecting a baby girl very soon revealed when she and her boyfriend found out about her pregnancy, it was during a surprise trip to San Diego around Valentine’s Day.</p>
<p>As someone who does not eat McDonald’s she started to crave a meal from the fast food restaurant. Afterwards she went to sleep, and woke up to her boyfriend asking if she was pregnant.</p>
<p>Two pregnancy tests later and the news was confirmed. She said, “I still have the stick. I had to show it to my mom, because she didn’t even believe me when I told her.”</p>
<p>Now we all have been wondering exactly who her boyfriend is. Although she did not reveal a name, she did mention that he is also an actor. But we have every reason to believe it is her #HAHN costar, Nicholas James. The two were both in San Diego for Valentine’s Day where they shared a sky diving experience.</p>

<p>She revealed to the magazine on the reasons why she didn’t want to publicly announce the father of her child. She said, “I didn’t want to hear, ‘Who’s the dad? Are you with the dad?’ Social media can be harsh, and I’m a mama bear, protective of my family. So that’s why I waited to tell people, including some friends. My friends weren’t mad at me. They said, ‘You did it the way you wanted to do it. You’re an inspiration.’”</p>
<p>When it comes to whether or not marriage is in the future, she said, &#8220;One of the first questions my mother asked when she found out I was pregnant was ‘Are you going to get married?’ I’d love to, but maybe in a year or so. I’ve been with my boyfriend for more than a year and a half. Our relationship is not dependent on a ring. I love him to death, and he loves me to death, and that’s all that matters to me.”</p>
<p>Congrats to Tika Sumpter and her growing family, we can’t wait for her to have her beautiful baby girl.</p>
