#Roommates, Tinashe is learning the hard way what happens when you decide to comment on the children of celebrities. Following North Wests performance at the Yeezy Season 8 fashion show where she rapped a remix to ZaZas What I Do, Tinashe decided to throw some shade Northies way when ZaZas mom initially called out Kim and Kanye for not giving her daughter credit.
As we previously reported, Kim Kardashian promptly responded to ZaZas moms comments in a very professional, understanding way, writing:
We love you, North is a huge fan and records in the studio all the time with her dad and is inspired by ZaZa and loves Lay Lay too! Todays performance of Norths remix of ZaZas song was something she asked to do at the last minute and a complete surprise. I didn’t mean to not give credit where credit was due. Would love for the girls to meet soon.
Well despite the situation being resolved, Tinashe thought it was best for her to throw her two cents inand shade a 6-year-old in the process. Underneath ZaZas moms post, Tinashe wrote North West wishes and the backlash was instant.
Fans promptly dragged her for commenting on a child and even more so because the situation was so light-hearted. After getting wind of the backlash, Tinashe commented with this:
It was a f**king joke yall seriously dragging it. Yall really acting As if I personally reached out to the little girl like she even on the gram like Im f**king sick of everyone being so damn self righteous Plssssssssssss.
In case you forgot, Tinashe used to date NBA player Ben Simmons before he ended the relationship to date his current girlfriend Kendall Jennerwho is of course, Norths aunt.
