Toni Braxton made a visit to the Wendy Williams Show as she promotes her upcoming Christmas film on Lifetime.
During her interview with Wendy, Toni talked about her engagement to Birdman, “Braxton Family Values,” and her new film.
After showing off her huge engagement ring, Toni stated that no official wedding date has been set as of yet. There was almost a date set, but the filming for her family’s hit reality show pushed back the plans.
She said, “We almost had a date, well we had two dates, but we were doing ‘Braxton Family Values’ and we were going through a little drama, and I was like, ‘Okay the wedding is a good thing to get all of us sisters together,’ but I couldn’t get us all together. I said the wedding is not a good reason because it’s messing up my relationship a little bit.”
She continued, “He was like come on Michelle (her middle name) set a date. He said before the year is out, so I have a couple of weeks.”

Toni went on to explain that the two were friends for 17 years before getting into a romantic relationship.
