<p>Roommates, earlier this week B. Simone set social media on fire when she stated that she would never be in a relationship with someone who has a 9-5 job. Many chimed in with their opinions to her comments, including <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/tory-lanez-provides-receipts-that-he-cleared-pretty-rickys-your-body-sample-before-featuring-it-on-his-project-reveals-pleasure-p-was-in-the-studio-while-he-was-recording-exclusive-details/">Tory Lanez</a>, who called her out on Twitter by letting her know that 9-5 workers make more money than she thinks.</p>
<p>B. Simone was <a href="https://www.bet.com/music/2020/06/10/tory-lanez-b-simone-wont-date-a-man-with-a-9-5.html">recently interviewed</a> by her “Wild N Out” boss Nick Cannon on his morning radio show—and her comments about not being interested in being with someone who works a 9-5 job instead of being an entrepreneur rubbed many people the wrong way…and that also includes Tory Lanez.</p>
<p>Tory took to his Twitter account to offer B. Simone this bit of insight about those who work 9-5:</p>
<p><em>“Lolol i guess no one told my dog B.Simone that the world got A LOT of people who work a 9-5 THAT GET MORE MONEY THAN SOME OF OUR FAVORITE RAPPERS /ENTERTAINERS?!?!??? For me on the other hand &#8230; all y’all ladies with 9-5s hit my line I got time.”</em></p>

<p>Following the backlash she received, B. Simone posted an explanation for her comments:</p>
<p><em>“I’m trying to manifest a husband. Ain’t nothing wrong with a n***a with a 9 to 5. I get it. They work hard. I used to work a 9 to 5.Nothing is wrong. I need an entrepreneur. I need somebody that understands my mindset. Somebody that has the same lifestyle. It hasn’t anything to do with money.”</em></p>
<p>After her clarification, social media (and Tory Lanez) appear to still not be feeling her opinion.</p>
