<p>In response to some questions from <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/j-prince-says-wack-100-has-diarrhea-of-the-mouth-for-dissing-2pac-nipsey-hussle-other-big-name-artists/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Wack 100</a>, Trippie Redd is breaking down why he enjoys rocking painted nails!</p>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">Wack 100 Asks Why Rappers Don &#8216;Fingernail Polish&#8217;: &#8216;It&#8217;s A Different Era&#8217;</h3>
<p>On Tuesday, Wack jumped on Instagram to try and better understand why certain &#8220;youngsters [are] wearing fingernail polish&#8221; nowadays. He also went on to explain that many people questioned him about the subject, although he&#8217;s admittedly uninformed.</p>
<p>However, he made a point to discuss how—although rappers like Trippie Redd, NBA YoungBoy, and Lil Uzi Vert rock manicures—he understands that &#8220;they&#8217;re very masculine.&#8221;</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;I know a lot of youngsters—Trippie Redd, NBA, Lil Uzi—I know these men, these men are not feminine, these men are not gay, they&#8217;re very masculine.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>Wack 100 also explained that it&#8217;s simply &#8220;a different era&#8221; and mentioned how older heads gave them the side-eye for sagging their pants back in the day.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;It&#8217;s a different era. When I grew up, n***as was sagging their pants. My parents and uncles was like, &#8216;What y&#8217;all doing with your a** out, n***a? That&#8217;s gay.&#8217; But it wasn&#8217;t gay, it was just some trendy s**t we was doing.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>Towards the end of his upload, Wack explained that he thinks &#8220;it&#8217;s just another type of movement,&#8221; though he implored people to explain &#8220;what the fingernail polish represents.&#8221;</p>

<p><a href="https://www.instagram.com/reel/CopvG_Sg0IR/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link" target="_blank" rel="noopener">DJ Akademiks</a> ultimately reshared Wack&#8217;s upload, and Trippie Redd responded in the comment section.</p>
<p>He briefly explained that painting his nails is a way of &#8220;Being true to your self and [practicing] self care.&#8221;</p>
<p>The &#8220;Love Scars&#8221; rapper went on to add that nail art is &#8220;a way of expressing ur feelings.&#8221;</p>

<h3 style="text-align: center;">NBA YoungBoy Previously Spoke On Why He Wears Makeup</h3>
<p>While on the subject of male rappers embracing nail art, we should mention that NBA YoungBoy previously spoke on why he wears makeup.</p>
<p>During a conversation with DJ Akademiks, NBA YoungBoy noted that he feels &#8220;comfortable&#8221; wearing cosmetics. He also noted that he loves embracing &#8220;the goth feeling&#8221; and and enjoys &#8220;look[ing] in the mirror and see[ing] everything black.&#8221;</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;I like painting my face, putting makeup on. I like to look in the mirror and see everything black. Like my eyes and s**t. That&#8217;s one hundred percent real! That’s me being myself. I feel comfortable that way. That’s some s**t from MAC I made my engineer go buy. It give me like the goth feeling, like rockstars.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
