Trump Introduces New Guidelines Asking Americans To Refrain From Gathering In Groups Of 10 Or More To Combat Coronavirus Outbreak

It seems like every other day now, Donald Trump and his administration are giving the American people updates on the coronavirus and how it will impact our day-to-day lives. In Monday afternoon’s address, Trump said new guidelines recommend people refrain from gathering in groups of 10 or more.

This is a measure that his administration says is important to further prevent the spread of the coronavirus here in America.

“We’ve made the decision to further toughen the guidelines and blunt the infection now,” Trump said. “We much rather be ahead of the curve then behind it and that’s what we are. Therefore my administration is recommending that all Americans, including the young and healthy, work to engage in schooling from home when possible, avoid gathering in groups of more than 10 people, avoid discretionary travel, and avoid eating and drinking at bars, restaurants and public food courts.”

When asked if this was the new normal for Americans, Trump replied that things may be this way until July or August, or “longer than that.”

But just as quick as Trump said that, National Health Institute’s Dr. Anthony Fauci made sure to clarify Trump’s comments to ease Americans’ concerns that these strict guidelines would be in place for a while. Watch below:
