TSR Exclusive: Behind The Scenes With K. Michelle – The WHOLE Run Down – TEA Inside!

I pull up to the spot where K. Michelle is having a photoshoot for her upcoming tour, it’s a spot in Eagle Rock, CA… less than twenty minutes from Downtown LA.

As soon as we pull up we see a BMW X6 and a Porsche parked outside of the studio, but I don’t know who the cars belong to.

Anyway, we walk inside and the first person I see is K. Michelle sitting in front of a vanity mirror as her make-up artist Reginald Dowdley ( @luxeartist on Instagram) applied her fresh beat! I walk straight up to K. Michelle and gave her a hug. Right away, I could sense she was very cool and down to earth. My eyes were immediately drawn to a MASSIVE diamond ring on her ring finger. I asked her who gave her the ring. She had a big smile on her face and said “Bobby”. We knew about the ring because she had once posted it on Instagram.

K. had an entire team of people there for her shoot: Hair Stylist Ray D ( @hair4kicks ) , Celebrity stylist Jo and @zellswag worked with LHHH and LHHATL artists), photographers, assistants, etc.

As soon as we sat down K told us that she was ordering pizza for everyone because she knew we might be hungry. I thought that was pretty nice of her to do.

She gets out of the chair to shoot her next shot (which we can’t disclose because the theme is a surprise! We will just say that it’s BANANAS) and the first thought that came to mind was that she was TINY. I expected her to be super thick, but nope! She’s very short…I want to say she’s barely 5″ but it was hard to tell since I had my heels on. She has absolutely no stomach, she was very petite, and yes…her a** is FAT.

After the surprise shot she called me into her dressing room. I felt like we had been cool for years. Her Doctor was there giving her a shot because she had a bad cold.

She looked at me and said, “You caught me in here shooting up! You better not twist this on your blog!” Of course it was all a joke! Shortly after, she said the medicine made her hot pocket warm…the doctor said that was what it was supposed to do….and we all laughed.

She mentioned she would be leaving for a hosting gig in the morning. Her Doctor told her she should stay at home and rest instead. She looked at him and smiled, but we all knew she was going to keep working.

I looked around the room and she had tons of shoes and jewelry all over the place. She had a rack of clothes, some items that were customized just for her the night before. She seemed to like everything that her stylist picked out. Everything flowed very well.

The next thing you know, I look up and guess who I see? Her boo Bobby Maze walking into the dressing room with a plate of pizza. He came to support her.

K. Michelle started getting dressed for her next shoot and Bobby was eyeing her like steak on the grill. He couldn’t wait until the shoot was over! We’ll just leave it at that! I asked Bobby if he wanted to be featured on the blog, he said “ABSOLUTELY NOT!” He mentioned that he was a low key person and didn’t want to be in the spotlight. It just wasn’t his thing. When we asked him about his love for K he whispered, “That’s my baby…for real”. We were surprised to find out he was hosting a fundraiser for disadvantaged youth the next week! Love was definitely in the air! We hope he won’t be mad about this picture below! Don’t kill us!

K shot for another 3-4 hours before wrapping up the shoot (Midnight) and thanking everyone for their time. The last shot was a HIT. She was energetic the entire time even though she had been working since before 12pm. I know she wanted to go home, but instead she stayed and snapped flicks with all of us. Even after snapping pics she stayed behind to look at all of her photos. She works way tooooo hard! You gotta rest K!

We talked about all of the things that she would be doing in 2015. She has an upcoming tour, a Salon/Spa, a Hookah Lounge, and a couple of BIG surprise deals that she will announce to her fans very soon. Let’s just say that K. Michelle is headed straight to the the TOP.

I learned a lot about who he she is last night. I saw a very humble and talented Artist that loves to give to others. You just can’t fake that kind of spirit when you are in a stressful environment, sick, and working for 12 hours straight. There wasn’t the slightest bit of “Diva” in her personality. I didn’t even see her as K. Michelle… I saw her as K.

We had an awesome time hanging with K! Can’t wait to witness her greatness in 2015!
