The Shade Room exclusively reports that the 2008 Nike Air Yeezy’s that Kanye wore to the 2008 Grammys went on sale for over $1 million at Sotheby’s—making it the highest-priced sneaker ever to go on sale in the history of global sneaker sales!</p>
<p>The Yeezy’s <a href="https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&;rct=j&;q=&;esrc=s&;source=web&;cd=&;cad=rja&;uact=8&;ved=2ahUKEwjFssP4-_nvAhVORK0KHQBqBwkQxfQBMA16BAgrEAk&;url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.forbes.com%2Fsites%2Fhughmcintyre%2F2021%2F04%2F12%2Fkanye-wests-first-yeezy-sneaker-going-to-action-valued-at-more-than-1-million%2F&;usg=AOvVaw1y4YHYcVeCGT_TZtfvcfQk">were worn</a> by Kanye during his emotional performance of “Hey Mama” and his Grammy-winning song “Stronger.” One of the most prized and sought-after sneakers in existence, the Yeezy’s are offered from Ryan Chang, renowned sneaker collector and curator of @applied.arts.nyc, and will be on public exhibition from 16 – 21 April in Hong Kong at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.</p>
