Your favorite powerhouse has partnered with HelloVote to make sure all of our lovely #roommates are equipped to participate in one of the most historical elections.
Hello.Vote is the first ever chat-spot for voter registration and we invite you all to join us in that experience! It’s super easy and anyone with a phone can do it, so we don’t want to hear any excuses!
Here’s how it works:
Visit: Hello.vote/theshaderoom
Enter your cellphone number. You’ll receive a text message asking a few basic questions like your name, address, birthday, address, etc. HelloVote will check to see if you’re already registered based off the first few questions you answer. If you are, awesome sauce! If not, the next few questions will have you good to go for November 8th!
“Registering to vote will never be fun. We’re hoping to make it easier,” Elana Berkowitz, cofounder of HelloVote told us.
Elana spent two years working with the Obama administration and is now working alongside HelloVote’s other cofounders to make sure you, and the rest of America gets to the polls on Election Day!
Voter laws vary by state but HelloVote is here even for those who are required to send a signed copy of the registration form. Elana has assured us that if this applies to you, within three days of your registration with HelloVote, a stamped registration card will be mailed to you. Plus they’ll even send you a reminder to drop it back in the mail!
