Tis the season for giving and it looks like 2 Chainz has definitely tapped into his giving side for the holiday season!
A Georgia family, headed by a single mother and disabled veteran, was surprised with new furniture from 2 Chainz and his Tru Foundation. Not only was their new furniture lit, he went a step further and offered to pay her rent for an entire year!

It’s reported that the mother, Deidre Plater, recently had surgery and has been having a difficult time finding a job for almost a year now.
“It’s hard to keep gas in the car, food in the house, and do everything by myself being a single parent; I am on a fixed income, she said. “I love to see stuff like this happen for other people, but I never thought it would happen to me.”
What a nice gesture!
Remember those dabbing Santa sweatshirts 2 Chainz was pushing? He says a portion of those proceeds helped bring that holiday cheer up the Plater household. He also said he plans to use additional proceeds to help “other families” who happen to be in need as well during this holiday season.
