<p>Congratulations are in order for Jeezy and <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/jeannie-mai-gets-candid-about-her-relationship-with-jeezy-i-found-my-equal/">Jeannie Mai</a>, who have good news during this quarantine. People can confirm that the two are engaged, and have been since March 27th!</p>
<p>Jeezy was apparently planning to propose to Jeannie sometime in April during a planned trip to Vietnam, but miss &#8216;rona came through and shut all of those plans down! So, he decided to surprise her with a quarantine date night at his home in Los Angeles, where he proceeded to pop the question.</p>
<p>&#8220;Jeannie and Jay were set for a trip to Vietnam this April. What Jeannie didn&#8217;t know is that Jay was planning to propose,&#8221; Jeannie&#8217;s rep tells People. &#8220;Instead, Jay decided to bring Vietnam to Jeannie with a surprise quarantine date night in his home filled with Vietnamese food and decor.&#8221;</p>

<p>Jeannie and Jeezy announced they were an item back in August 2019, but had been dating since November 2018. They walked the red carpet together for Jeezy&#8217;s non-profit, and Jeannie Mai says everything just felt right for them.</p>
<p>&#8220;We both went through enough in our life to connect on the understanding that love should feel safe, honest, and pure,&#8221; Jeannie told People. &#8220;Immediately that was a magnetic attraction. We are very attracted to each other&#8217;s passions to serve. So because we have a mutual joy of having purpose, we&#8217;re going to find a way to do that together.&#8221;</p>
