<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="line-height: normal; -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">An investigation prompted by the mysterious death of 28-year-old Sandra Bland, who was allegedly found hanging in her cell, has uncovered some pretty disturbing things about the trooper who stopped her as well as Waller County Jailhouse where Bland was held.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="line-height: normal; -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">One of the troopers involved in the arrest has been placed on desk duties after it was reported that he violated policy. The procedure that was violated has not been discussed specifically but state public safety officials said the trooper, “violated the department&#8217;s procedures regarding traffic stops and the department&#8217;s courtesy.” Conveniently, the trooper’s name also has not been released either.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="line-height: normal; -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">Also reports show that Bland’s body had not been discovered for up to 90 minutes putting the jail also in direct violation of commission guidelines because inmates are to be checked on every hour and for inmates with suicidal tendencies, every 30 minutes. As a result, Waller County Jail was de-certified on Thursday after the Texas Commission on Jail Standards issued a “notice of non-compliance” for issues with staff training and observation of inmates. ;</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="line-height: normal; -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">Unfortunately for the facility, this isn’t the only time it has been cited on violations. They have had three in the past three years which include two inmate suicides and an inmate escape. ;</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="line-height: normal; -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">Reactions to the mysterious death of the graduate from Prairie View A&;M University has been mixed. “Black” Twitter has started another eye catching hashtag ; called #IfIDieInPoliceCustody. The hashtag shows a very scary but unfortunately truth revelation of what it&#8217;s like to be Black under law:</span></p>
