<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Roomies, on Tuesday, we <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/tsr-updatez-video-surfaces-of-ahmaud-arbery-being-fatally-shot-by-men-as-he-was-jogging/">reported</a> that there was a <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/tsr-updatez-video-surfaces-of-ahmaud-arbery-being-fatally-shot-by-men-as-he-was-jogging/">video</a> that showed the tragic shooting of<a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/ahmaud-arbery-a-black-jogger-was-chased-down-and-shot-to-death-in-georgia-two-months-later-no-arrests-have-been-made/"> Ahmaud Arbery</a>, 25-year-old Black man who was fatally shot by two white men in Georgia. As a result of the video’s release, the district attorney is recommending the case heads to the grand jury.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">According to reports, the district attorney for the Atlantic Judicial Circuit, Tom Durden, expressed that he will present the case to the next available grand jury in Glynn County to determine if any charges will be filed against Gregory and Travis McMichael.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“I am of the opinion that the case should be presented to the grand jury of Glynn County for consideration of criminal charges against those involved in the death of Mr. Arbery,” Tom Durden, District Attorney Pro Tempore for the Brunswick Judicial Circuit, wrote in a press release.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">As we previously reported, District Attorney Tim Durden is now in charge of the case, after two previous District Attorneys had to recuse themselves, due to a conflict of interest.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">According to News4Jax, the district attorney has been investigating the case since April 13th but the initial incident happened in February.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Earlier reports suggested that Travis McMichael, the son of a former district attorney investigator, was making a citizen’s arrest.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Brunswick radio station posted the video and stated it was given to them anonymously.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“This was given to us by an anonymous source,&#8221; the radio station wrote in a post on its website. &#8220;We debated whether to put it out, but determined it was in the best interest of the public.”</span></p>
