#TSRCoinz: Gucci belts and bundles are cool, but #Roommates can we talk about #realgoals and real #moneymoves for a sec? This edition of #TSRCoinz is all about homeownership. Owning a house is a goal many of us are still working on, but know that it IS achievable! Here are a few steps you can be taking now to help achieve your property-owning goals!
1.) Work on improving your credit score. This means building your credit so you can garner the best rates on the market, and pulling your credit reports to make sure you’re not being penalized for anything older that you’ve paid already. 2.) Make a budget and know what you (and your partner) can actually afford. 3.) Start saving for a down payment and any other related closing costs. Building a healthy savings is the way to go. 4.) Actively work to pay downpour credit card and student loan debt. Before moving forward with the big purchase, ask yourself if you can afford to dish out a down-payment and handle your other monthly obligations AND housing costs.
