Okay #Roommates get your cups ready because the tea I’m about to spill is hot! Yesterday we posted a #RoommateTalk from a stylist from the Bay Area who claimed he was styling #LHHH cast member #ShandaDenyce. He said that he would make frequent trips back and forth from the Bay to L.A. to style Shanda and one day just decided to leave all the clothes with her so he wouldn’t have to bring everything back and forth. He said that after he caught wind of Shanda’s bad business deals he called and asked for his belongings back but kept getting the run around and slowly but surely started seeing his clothes appear on the show. He felt like Shanda took advantage of him but Shanda claims that’s simply not the case at all!
Shanda exclusively spoke to TheShadeRoom and said,
“See in any and everything I’ve done I’ve tried to give others like myself an opportunity to work towards their passion but it doesn’t always work in my favor. I wasn’t satisfied with the work and I didn’t need him driving from the Bay Area every weekend because I wasn’t sure if I was going to use him. He brought me some pieces over to wear for the season but I really wasn’t feeling them so I decided to make good of the bad. I selected 1 of his pieces to film in, mind you he had told me that my cast mate Moniece basically wasn’t hitting him back (probably because she wasn’t feeling it either I don’t know) so I decided to just try to create or in other words explain who I was and what I represent which could probably give him a better idea of how to style me.”
“This is someone that hasn’t done much but I was willing to give him a shot at possibly landing other jobs or whatever. I get things sent to me all the time but if it doesn’t look good on me I wouldn’t wear it, which was more than half of what was given to me by this young man. So me being me I had worn one of his skirts just so that his hard work wouldn’t be felt in vain. So after I filmed in it he sends me this long text stating how he felt I wasn’t using him enough or what not. So then told I him that I didn’t need him and I guess that’s basically when he got upset. See I always try to give new or unknown people a shot because I was too that person. I felt I deserved a shot at music and would have loved and an opportunity to showcase my talent but I knew I had to deliver and thats something he did not do. I apologize for even allowing someone to have The opportunity to slander my name and my character. Very unfortunate …Further more if he’d like his box of belongings I’ve told him months ago he could come and get them because have yet to be touched.”
