It’s not every day that we receive good news about some of your favorite celebrities, but when we heard from one of our Roommates regarding Angela Simmons, we couldn’t just not tell y’all how much of a blessing she’s been lately.
Apparently, Ms. Simmons hosted a NYE party in DC where her concierge specialist explained why she all of a sudden understood the “Angel” part of her name. She told us, “At the end of the night, Ms. Simmons attempted to give me a monetary thank you donation. I humbly refused and told her to donate the undisclosed amount to a Breast Cancer charity. With the support of her siblings, Vanessa and Jojo, Angela said, ‘please take this and donate it on my behalf…please? I want to help'” and that’s when our Roommate knew that Angela Simmons is no ordinary woman and that she certainly comes from an upstanding family.
Our Roommate continued to tell us that Dennis Boyle, the Senior Philanthropy Officer for Washington Hospital Center Foundation, was so moved by her gift that he stopped his meeting to personally thank her.
