Get ready, cause the Patti Pies are about to have some competition! Legendary singer Patti LaBelle has just announced that she is launching a brand-new line of frozen soul food dishes to accompany her already hugely popular dessert line.
According to @Blavity, during the recent 2019 Essence Festival, Ms. Patti revealed the news that her frozen food empire is about to get even largerspecifically for lovers of soul food. Shes partnering with Wal-Mart once again hoping to recreate the magic that brought in millions of dollars courtesy of her desserts, especially the much talked about sweet potato pie that went viral a few years ago.
Speaking about whats to come, Patti said this:
Coming soon to a Walmart near you, youll have my savory foods. There will be nine skus, foods like macaroni and cheese. Its greens, its brisket, its chicken and biscuits, and five more I cant think of them.
No word yet on the exact date that the new frozen foods will be available in Wal-Mart stores, but the holiday season seems like an ideal start.
