here are literally hundreds of thousands of animals that are waiting to be adopted and brought into loving homes every day. As was the case for Freya out of the UK, however, her journey to adoption hasn’t been easy!
At just six weeks old, the Staffordshire bull terrier mix was brought to Merseyside animal shelter where she would be looked over by 18,000 potential parents, but fate took an unsuspecting turn.
Transformers director, Michael Bay, who is an advocate for animals, saw an ad for Freya and decided to cast her in the upcoming Transformers film! Isn’t that cool? The dog who was once dubbed ‘Britain’s Loneliest Dog’ is getting ready to rub elbows with Megatron and Bumblebee!
The crew is set to begin filming this summer in the UK and Bat says that if the movie doesn’t find Freya a home, then he’ll take her home. He’s already got two bullmastiffs named Bonecrusher and Grace!
Roommates, even though this story is about a dog, there’s a big lesson here for all of us: what is for you is for you and no one can take it away!
