<p>I don’t know how much money he had for college applications fees, but apparently money wasn’t a thing for this New Orleans teenager! According to ABC affiliate <a href="http://wgno.com/2018/04/16/wow-new-orleans-senior-accepted-to-more-than-80-colleges/">WGNO</a>, International High School of New Orleans senior Darrin Francois got accepted into 83 colleges!</p>
<p>#Roommates, if that isn’t impressive enough, he also got over 3 million dollars in scholarships!</p>
<p>So exactly how many schools did Francois apply to? He doesn’t even know himself! &#8220;I just applied, applied, applied. I didn&#8217;t know how many it was, so once they started to come through the mail, I was like oh my gosh, this many? Then, they started coming more more and more,” he said. “Now, today, I have 83 now!”</p>
<p>His mom Bridget called the news a blessing! &#8220;Eighty-three colleges? That is wonderful, that is a blessing from God. I&#8217;m very proud, a proud mother to see my son go forward into his success and go forward into his goals,&#8221; she said.</p>
<p>According to reports, students at International High have a daily routine of filling out multiple college applications.</p>
<p>Rufus Mcgee, the director of student support services, said: “I think we got on some of their nerves to be honest with you, but we continued to hammer at them to let them know that the world is yours, if you reach out and get it.”</p>
<p>Francois hasn&#8217;t officially chosen a college yet, but he advises other graduation seniors to “just stay true to yourself.”</p>
<p>“If you know you&#8217;re going to get in, you&#8217;re going to get in,&#8221; he said.</p>
