<p>A dog named after the &#8216;The Rock&#8217; got some great news this Thanksgiving from the The Rock himself!!</p>
<p>At only 4 months, the dog was abandoned and found with wire wrapped around his mouth. An LA shelter was gracious enough to take him in but was later hit with some more <span style="line-height: 1.5;">devastating news. The dog has now become diagnosed with a grade 6 heart murmur, a condition that requires a $4,500 surgery!</span></p>
<p>So just like anyone else would do in this day and age, the animal shelter started a GoFundMe to raise awareness and money for the dog. The REAL Dwayne &#8216;The Rock&#8217; Johnson got wind of what was going on after his Fast &; Furious 7 co-star tweeted the GoFundMe link.</p>
<p>After reading the dog’s tragic story, The Rock decided to lend a helping hand. The Rock has donated $1,500 towards the puppy&#8217;s surgery! How sweet!</p>
<p>The shelter spoke out Wednesday on their website about The Rock helping and said, &#8220;Knowing that &#8216;The Rock&#8217; has got Dwayne the puppy&#8217;s back we are confident he will be a fighter and make it through this. Thank you all for generous donations &#8211; thanks to you have met our goal.&#8221;</p>
