#TSRPositiveImages: Young Dro Gives Away Over 500 Book Bags Worth of School Supplies!

Hey, Roommates! Not everyday you get to hear great stories about your favorite rappers, especially when they’re throwing shade at each other via a concert or radio break. Anyway, today, I had the opportunity of witnessing Atlanta’s own #YoungDro donate school supplies to over 500 kids at the Boys and Girls Club of Bankhead!

The rapper kicked off the day by inviting local talent to perform followed by a celebrity basketball game which included himself, Lil Bankhead from Streetz 94.5 and Reec from Hot 107.9. Unfortunately, #TeamDro lost, but at the end of the day, everybody won, because they were able to come together for such a great cause!

To add to all of the positivity, Dro was able to meet one of his biggest fans named Steven! He has special needs, but you wouldn’t even know it, because he was treated with the same respect as the other kids and it truly warmed my heart to see that!

I implore more of our entertainers to give back to their communities, because after all, they made you who you are. If you don’t like where you can from, then do something to make a change!
