From Beyoncé announcing that she was pregnant with twins to #Solange winning her first Grammy and #ViolaDavis snagging her first Oscar, Black History Month was filled with celebratory moments. Let&#8217;s take a trip down memory lane!</p>
<p>1.) Viola Davis won her first Oscar and made history as the first African-American woman to win an Oscar, (two) Tony awards and an Emmy for acting!! She lit!!</p>

<p>2.) After dropping one of the most artistic and vulnerable albums of all time, Solange won her first Grammy for &#8216;Cranes in the Sky&#8217;!</p>
<p>3.) Moonlight took home the highly coveted Oscar for Best Picture on Sunday&#8217;s Academy Awards! #BlackBoyJoy</p>
<p>4.) Childish Gambino took home a Golden Globe for his show, Atlanta. During his acceptance speech, he shouted out Migos &#8216; &#8216;Bad &#038; Boujee&#8217; tecord which skyrocketed streaming and ultimately helped to sustain its #1 spot on the chart. </p>

<p>5.) Nicki, Lil Wayne and Meek Mill appeared to be making a comeback when Nicki posted a picture of the three of them together. We sure hope that they&#8217;ll bless us one time!</p>

<p>7.) The Migos landed their first Billboard Hot 100 #1 hit with &#8216;Bad and Boujee&#8217; </p>
<p>8.) Chance the Rapper proved that you can stay independent and win a Grammy! He won his first one this month. </p>

<p>10.) While it happened just a few days before Black History Month, Carolyn Bryant told author Timothy Tyson that her testimony against Emmett Till was a lie. She was the reason why he was murdered and although her admission was very, very late this news set the tone for what was to come!#BihBettaHaveMyJustice!</p>
