Last night was an emotional roller coaster for Golden State fans as they celebrated Kevin Durant’s return to the game as he worked to helped his team advance in the finals.
KD returned to the court after suffering an injury, however, during the game he injured himself again, this time around with an Achilles injury. Nonetheless, the Warriors pulled through and were able to defeat the Toronto Raptors by one point, making the total score 106-105.
Shortly after the Warriors victory, KD took to his Instagram to express his excitement about the team’s win.
He said, “Dub nation gonna be loud as f*ck for game 6. I’m hurting deep in the soul right now, I can’t lie but seeing my brothers get this win was like taking a shot of tequila, I got new life.”
He also received tons of love from his peers both inside and outside of basketball. Some of the people to show their love to KD included Drake and Matt Barnes.

Kevin’s mother, Wanda Durant also took to social media to deliver a message about her son.
The next stop in the NBA Finals is Game 6, which takes place on Thursday, and right now the Raptors continue to lead the series with 3-2.
