#Roommates, earlier we posted a video of a woman who left a toddler on a stranger’s porch. New information regarding this story has since came out and turns out the boy got dropped of at the wrong house.
According to Chron, the toddler will be reunited with his family and the so-called friend of the mother, who practically dragged the boy by his arm, will be facing criminal charges.
Apparently the woman, a friend of the child’s mother, was supposed to drop the toddler off at his father’s house in the afternoon. The boy never got dropped off and the father assumed that plans had changed and ended up leaving his house.
The little boy is currently in foster care and will reunited with his dad soon.
“I can confirm that CPS is investigating and the child is safe, healthy, no signs of abuse and is happy,” said Tejal Patel, spokeswoman of the Department of Family and Protective Services for the Greater Houston area.
The woman who left the child isn’t off the hook. She could be hit with a child abandonment charge, which is a third degree felony.
