Casanova has turned himself in after a woman alleged that he and his entourage attacked her inside of a diner after they thought she was filming them. However, the woman claims she was on Instagram Live, to show off her food that was brought to the table.
According to TMZ, the rapper has reportedly been charged with felony second-degree robbery. Casanova surrendered to NYPD Wednesday morning after learning that he was a wanted man.
ABC 7 New York spoke to Casanova’s attorney Scott Leeman and he said the rapper denies attacking the woman.
He said, “Casanova adamantly denies the allegation that he assaulted anyone. Any contention he did so is totally false. We are in the process of conducting our own investigation into these false allegations.”
We previously reported that the woman alleges that one man from Casanova’s entourage put her in a chokehold and another dragged her across the diner, while Casanova reportedly grabbed her phone to delete her Instagram Live post.
The woman claimed that she was left with a broken jaw, a loose tooth, and stitches.
