<p>Roommates, we are keeping the loved ones of 4-year-old Maleah Davis in our prayers during this difficult time.</p>
<p>According to <em><a href="https://abc13.com/maleah-davis-remains-found-in-arkansas-those-of-missing-girl-/5327863/">ABC 13</a></em>, a medical examiner has confirmed that the human remains found last week in Arkansas are those of 4-year-old Maleah Davis. At the moment, the cause of her passing is still pending.</p>
<p>As we <em><a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/tsr-updatez-remains-with-bones-blood-reportedly-found-in-a-black-bag-in-arkansas-amid-search-for-maleah-davis/">previously</a></em> reported, authorities in Arkansas said that a black bag with a foul odor with bones and blood inside had been located.</p>
<p>Quanell X, a community activist that had been working with Maleah’s mother, had revealed that Derion Vence, the suspect in her disappearance, had confessed to her death being an accident and her body being dumped in Arkansas.</p>
<p>Quanell, who met with Derion, who has been locked up since May 11<sup>th</sup> said at the time, “All I can say is he told me it was an accident, and that she is dead and where he dumped her body.” He also said, “He said he pulled over in Arkansas, got out of the car, walked off the side of the road, and dumped her body off the side of the road.”</p>
<p>After the remains were located, they were sent back to Houston for further investigation.</p>
<p>In a statement released by The Houston Police Department on Monday, they vowed to continue to work the case.</p>
<p>The statement read, “The Houston Police Department will continue to work diligently with the Harris County District Attorney&#8217;s Office and other partners to ensure the person(s) responsible for her death, and the attempted cover-up of her death, are held accountable to the fullest extent of the law.”</p>
