<p>Welp, #DubNation fans you may want to sit down for this one. Following the injury to his left hand that unfortunately left it broken, Golden State Warriors superstar <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/steph-curry-updates-fans-on-his-condition-after-suffering-a-broken-hand/">Steph Curry</a> now has an update regarding when he can return to the court—and it’s a lot longer than many had hoped.</p>
<p>Earlier this week, Warriors fans were devastated to learn that the team’s star player and two-time MVP, Steph Curry, broke his left hand during the most recent game against the Phoenix Suns. According to the @NYTimes, Steph <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2019/11/01/sports/basketball/stephen-curry-broken-hand-surgery.html?smid=tw-nytimes&;smtyp=cur">will miss</a> at least three months of basketball after undergoing surgery to his hand following an injury on the court.</p>
<p>The Warriors officially announced that the next update on Steph’s status is set to take place three months from now, which means that sadly, superstar guard will likely miss a minimum of 45 games. Steph recently posted a photo on social media of him smiling while in his hospital bed, assuring fans that despite his injury, he would be returning to the game soon. He probably didn’t expect “soon” to be at least three months.</p>
<p>His injury occurred early in the third quarter of Golden State’s 121-110 loss to the Phoenix Suns, when Steph drove to the basket and collided in midair with the Suns’ center Aron Baynes, who landed hard on his left arm after first trying to take a charge. The Warriors then announced during the fourth quarter that he had indeed broken his hand.</p>
<p>This is another unfortunate blow to the team, following Klay Thompson, who tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee in Game 6 of this year’s NBA finals, making him miss the entire season. Warriors officials have said that the next update on Thompson’s status can be expected around the All-Star break in mid-February.</p>
