It has been six years since the sudden death of Michael Jackson, but he has in no shape of form lost his relevance. Warner Bros. Television Group is giving his fans exactly what they want, and is currently working on a TV series that will focus on Michaels final days.
According to Deadline, the company has signed a multi-year development and production deal with author and producer Tavis Smiley, to put everything in motion. The series will mirror Smileys soon to be released book, Before You Judge Me: The Triumph And Tragedy of Michael Jacksons Last Days. The book focuses on the final 16 weeks of the superstars life, which was filled with more behind the scene trouble that many may have realized.
The show is expected to focus less on his music and more on his private moments, removing the issues that come with music rights. There is no word on when the show will hit television as of yet, but it should be something interesting to see play out.
