Tyler, The Creator held his first ever fashion show to introduce his latest clothing and accessory line, Golf Wang and his new shoe collaboration called “Golf La Fleur.”
The rapper, who is mostly known for his controversial antics, unveiled his fashion line featuring an array of colors and prints with a 90’s era theme. Celebs like Kanye West, Kendall Jenner, Amanda Steinberg, Janelle Monae and more littered his audience.
Towards the end of the show he gave thanks to everyone that took the time to come out and support him, “I don’t want to sound like a broken record, but I feel under appreciated man for a lot of the sh*t that I do. And to know that it’s actually people out there that actually give the smallest f*ck…it’s so awesome.”
Well if that wasn’t enough, everyone who bought a ticket to his show was in for a nice surprise. Kanye had randomly walked up to the Odd Future rapper and gave him an envelope. In it was a note that read, “From Golf, to you. Pick a shoe.” Tyler then clarified to say, “Every one that purchased a ticket get’s a free pair of shoes later in the year! You get a shoe! You get a shoe! You get a shoe!”
Since this is Tyler’s first show and he only has the samples from his clothing label, he let’s the audience know that he has to get his “sh*t” together first, but by “like August, September, October, November, December” you will see your very own “Golf La Fleur” shoes!
