TSR Exclusive Details: It looks like things are about to get interesting for DaBaby and that slap that was heard around Tampa, Florida. Lawyers representing Tyronesha Laws, the woman who alleges she was on the other end of that slap, have officially filed a lawsuit against DaBaby related to that March 8th incident. Laws is suing for battery and emotional distress among other damages.
Morgan & Morgan attorneys Matt Morgan and Chelsea Cromer tell us that they have requested a jury trial and look forward to presenting all of the “surrounding circumstances to a jury of our client’s peers.” “Our goal is to deter similar conduct in the future and send a message that this type of behavior is not tolerated in America,” they said.
It should be noted, however, that DaBaby’s lawyer claims Tyronesha is a liar and that they’re still struggling to find who the actual victim is after multiple people came forward claiming to have been slapped by DaBaby.
Morgan & Morgan did not immediately respond to those claims that Laws was not the person slapped by DaBaby.
Baby’s lawyers did not immediately publicly comment on the lawsuit. We’ll keep you posted if things get more interesting from here.
