<p>According to<a href="https://www.tmz.com/2022/06/23/feds-15-year-prison-term-cheer-star-jerry-harris-child-abuse-case/"> TMZ</a>, the U.S. Attorney office is asking the judge to sentence &#8220;Cheer&#8221; star<strong> Jerry Harris</strong> to 15 years in his child porn case.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;Cheer&#8221; star <strong>Jerry Harris</strong> should spend 15 years behind prison bars for his child pornography case &#8230; at least according to federal prosecutors.</p></blockquote>
<p>Prosecutors stated that his actions were &#8220;horrific&#8221; but say his childhood is to blame, and this is the reason for the &#8220;somewhat lenient&#8221; sentence.</p>

<p>It&#8217;s also requested that Harris receives 10 years of supervised release once he is released from prison. On the contrary, Harris&#8217; team is requesting a sentence of six years in prison and eight years on supervised release.</p>
<p>The victims involved in the case are twin brothers, and their mother spoke out about Harris’ disturbing crimes.</p>
<blockquote><p>In an effort to put a stop to a serial predator and avert harm to other children, my sons took the brave step of speaking publicly about the sexual abuse they suffered at the hands of Jerry Harris. I will continue my mission to hold Jerry Harris and his enablers fully accountable both in the courts of law and of the court of public opinion.</p></blockquote>
<p>She added that Jerry Harris’ guilty plea gives her “hope that the pain and grief that my sons have suffered as a result of speaking up has not been in vain.”</p>
<p>As you know, Harris pled guilty to one count of receipt of child pornography and one count of traveling with the intent to engage in illicit sexual conduct in February.</p>
